"Whitetail Doe and Fawn" Life-size

x 10" x 19" - 50 lbs. This one-of-a-kind portrayal of wildlife brandishes a complexity in detail that culminates into simple grace. Strictly distinguished from others, "Whitetail Doe and Fawn" are life-size bronzes detailed to perfection from the gentle curve of the eyes to the tangibility of the muzzle and ears. These were commissioned pieces, after a previous sculpture named "King." King is a whitetail buck, also in bronze, and is portrayed jumping. He was inspired by a mount, harvested by a friend of the artist in the 1940's in south Texas. The 3 pieces are wonderful together as a grouping. This bronze was recently featured in the Pena Studio & Gallery of Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as the Spirits in the Wind Gallery, of Golden, Colorado.
